Panagsama Beach · Moalboal · Cebu

The sea is
already awake.

Boards, tanks, fins, and the famous Moalboal sardines — a few million of them, twenty meters off the beach, spinning into a silver ball at first light. We're the shack in front of it.

The shack

A surf & dive shop with sand on the floor

Saltwater Supply Co sits on Panagsama Beach Road, close enough to the water that the tide sets our schedule. We rent honest gear, run small sunrise trips to the sardines and Pescador Island, and pour our own surf wax out back when the wind drops. Come for a board, stay for the coffee.

The story behind them

Dive 02 / The Sardine Run

A few million fish,
one slow silver storm

Moalboal's sardines never left. Year-round, a bait ball the size of a house rolls along the drop-off just off Panagsama — close enough to reach on one breath. We leave the beach before sunrise, when the light comes through the ball like a lantern and the crowds are still asleep.

  • 5:15 AM boat, back by 8 for breakfast
  • Snorkel, freedive, or scuba — all levels welcome
  • Pescador Island add-on when the sea behaves

Wax we pour. Rashies we sew.

SALTWATER

Panagsama warm-water wax

Poured in small batches behind the shop. Coconut base, sticky at 29°C, smells faintly of the beach at low tide. ₱180 a puck, three for ₱450.

Reef-season rash guards

Sewn in Cebu City, UPF 50, flatlock seams, in deep-teal with the tide-line across the chest. Cut for paddling, priced for travelers. ₱1,450.

The sardines don't take reservations. We do.

Message us your dates and we'll hold your spot on the boat and your board on the rack.
